Denon Launches PerL Series of True Wireless Earbuds with Nura Personalization Technology

Denon launched its Denon PerL Series of True Wireless Earbuds, which combines the hearing profiling technology pioneered by Australian crowdfunding champions Nura Sound, now rebranded as Masimo Adaptive Acoustic Technology (AAT). The two Denon TWS earbuds are also basically the same products designed and already promoted NuraTrue and NuraTrue Pro, now renamed as Denon PerL and Denon PerL Pro.

Denon has announced that it is bringing the hearing profile technology from Australian headphone company Nura, into the brand’s product pipeline. In adding Nura’s otoacoustic emission measuring technology to Denon products, the Sound United brand, now owned by Masimo, will be able to add personalized sound, based on hearing measurements of each ear, processed on the device to create a unique user listening profile..

Swedish digital audio processing pioneer Dirac and Australian headphone company Nura announced a collaboration on the upcoming NuraTrue Pro wireless earbuds, featuring Dirac Virtuo spatial audio. The latest earbuds from Nura mark the first collaboration between the two companies and demonstrate Dirac’s growing leadership position in the headphone market – after establishing its technology in the automotive, home theater, and mobile markets. The NuraTrue Pro earbuds are now fully funded on Kickstarter.

Nura, the Australian startup that created one of the most effective personalized sound headphone solutions, has been trying to evolve its concept into new form-factors. After trying an interesting Bluetooth in-ear design with the Nura Loop, the Melbourne-based company finally launched Nura True, a TWS with ANC solution that truly promises to boost the company's technology and the brand itself.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced the Best of Innovation Honorees for CES 2018. The Honorees of these prestigious awards were announced during the annual CES Unveiled New York, an invitation-only event featuring the latest innovations and trends and important show announcements leading up to CES. Owned and produced by CTA, CES 2018 is the global stage for innovation and will run Jan. 9-12, 2018, in Las Vegas.
