Klippel Releases dB-Lab Version 212 and QC 7 Update

Klippel released the dB-Lab 212.616 and QC 7.5 maintenance update for the Klippel Analyzer System. The October 2023 software release is now available and features significant revisions to the Klippel Endurance Test (KET) as well as extended analysis opportunities for R&D modules like Multi-Tone Measurement (MTON) and Time Frequency Analysis (TFA). The update is free of charge for all users running dB-Lab 212 or QC7.

The update introduces the new Multi-Tone Measurement (MTON) and Multi-Tone Distortion Task (MTD) measurements, updates to the Near-Field Scanner (NCS) software and new capabilities for the Poly2SCN converter utility, which converts scan data from Polytec systems toto Klippel Software formats. Klippel released a major software update to its Klippel Analyzer System. The new dB-Lab Version 212 and QC 7 updates now add shared sensor management, support for the new Multi-Scanning Workbench hardware and three further modules (LSIM, MTON, RMA). The Klippel Multi-Scanning Workbench supports near-field holographic soundfield scanning measurements in a much smaller form factor, while the new modules add linear signal modeling and simulation and multi-tone measurements, dedicated to speaker and enclosure design.
