RME Debuts New Audio Networking Products for AVB Conversion and Recording

German manufacturer RME Audio launched the new 12Mic, AVB Tool and M-1610 Pro solutions at the 2020 NAMM Show. The three new audio networking products provide professionals with state-of-the-art mic preamps, flexible conversion and recording solutions for AVB and MADI applications. These products are now AVB-Milan compatible and are complemented with the new AVDECC controller, a software GUI for use alongside the device’s AVB networking capabilities.

Milan will host the 144th International AES Convention from May 23-26, and Italian manufacturer of automotive and professional loudspeakers, Faital, will present a new technical report entitled: “FEM thermal model of a compression driver: comparison with experimental results.” The presentation details Faital's successful experiments in developing a predictive model using Finite Element Analysis to improve the design of magnet assemblies in a loudspeaker.
