AudioControl Reinvents Distributed Audio with New Dual-Mode GaN-Based Amplifier Design

AudioControl has announced the introduction of three highly versatile CM Series amplifiers using GaN technology and a new proprietary circuit design for compatibility with both 70-volt and 4/8-Ohm loudspeakers (Dual Mode). These new CM Series amplifiers offer DSP control, matrixing capabilities, Dante digital audio networking and all the critical features integrators must have to satisfy every imaginable application including superior audio performance and build quality.

The AES 2022 convention in NY allowed British manufacturer DiGiCo to reveal the latest in its range of theater-targeted Quantum consoles, the all-new Quantum338T. With “in the box” mixing reducing the need for outboard equipment and a lightweight control surface, the addition of the most recent theater-specific software features to the company's renowned digital mixing engines, allowed creating the new Quantum338T mixer as a complete solution for fixed and touring theater productions.

MAAT Incorporated announced the release of a cross platform plug-in and native application for routing, matrixing and visualization of digital audio. The new MAATgo Plug-in represents the debut of MAAT’s first product designed specifically for hi-fi enthusiasts and high resolution audio (HRA) music playback from computers. Available for all major plug-in formats for macOS and Windows, MAATgo delivers complete "preamp" channel routing, plus a software goniometer that authentically replicates an analog oscilloscope experience.

The new Lectrosonics processors are designed to be gateways to and from Dante networks, providing signal processing and routing with automatic mixers as well as speaker management DSP functions. Both units feature delay, EQ filters and dynamic processing on every input and output channel.
