Marshall Celebrates Celestion's 100th Anniversary With Limited Edition Amp

To mark Celestion speakers' 100th anniversary, Marshall has given the Studio JTM amp a masterful redesign, featuring the introduction of an artisanal 12-inch speaker. Recalling the legacy and sound of Celestion’s first speakers built for electric guitars in the late 50s and early 60’s, the Celestion 100 amp is a display of the long-standing collaboration between the two legendary British companies. This collector’s piece has been handcrafted in the UK and is available for a limited run of just 100 units worldwide.

Audio, tech and design powerhouse Zound Industries International AB is formally changing its name to Marshall Group following the fusion between Zound and Marshall Amplification in March 2023. More than just a name change, the new Swedish-Anglo company says this represents the beginning of the next chapter in a decade-long partnership to build the iconic Marshall brand. Marshall Group AB anticipates revenue growth and operating margins in the second half of 2023.

The legendary guitar amplification company Marshall Amplification is merging with Zound Industries, the company that created the highly successful consumer electronics products under the licensed Marshall brand. Under the terms of the deal, Zound Industries will acquire Marshall Amplification and the Marshall family will become the largest shareholder of the newly formed Marshall Group with Terry and Victoria Marshall joining the Board of Directors.
