TIDAL Launches Live Feature for Sharing Events

TIDAL launched Live, a new in-app feature that makes it easy for HiFi and HiFi Plus TIDAL subscribers to share music in the moment without physically being together. According to the global music streaming platform, Live makes it easy for groups of any size to come together for a special event, an album release, a road trip, or for a get ready with me moment. TIDAL Live is another example of streaming services using social interaction as a way to reward subscribers and expand through user's networks.

Deutsche Grammophon announced STAGE+, promoted as "Music for the Eyes. Magic for the Ears." The new streaming service is totally focused on the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon music catalog available in lossless quality, and live performances from contemporary performers and orchestras streamed in 4K and Dolby Atmos. The service from the historic label will allow a new experience directly on any TV, computer, smartphone, and tablet, including the possibility to listen to music offline while away from home.

Deezer, the audio streaming service, is becoming a cornerstone investor in Dreamstage, a US-based live music streaming startup. Like all streaming content companies, the expansion into live concerts is regarded as a promising option for differentiation and subscriber retention. The new funding will also enable Dreamstage to significantly speed up growth and expand its operations.
