Dirac and ASUS Push the Boundaries of Mobile Sound in the New ASUS ROG Phone 6

Swedish digital audio processing specialist Dirac and ASUS, the manufacturer of electronics, computers and mobile phones confirmed a collaboration on the new Republic of Gamers (ROG) Phone 6 series of gaming-oriented smartphones. These new models from the specialty brand - intended to establish a new standard in mobile audio - feature improved sound technology and Dirac Virtuo spatial audio to fully immerse gamers in the heart of the action.

Following the successful launch of its SPACE HUB Immersive Processor at the recent Tonmeistertagung exhibition in Düsseldorf, CODA Audio has announced the creation of new dedicated ‘Immersive Audio’ facilities at the company’s headquarters in Hannover. The demonstration rooms are essential to showcase CODA's linear–phase loudspeakers with the SPACE Immersive System Solution and these become one of the most important advantages in multichannel 3D audio configurations.

German pro audio manufacturer CODA Audio is unveiling its own immersive audio processor, completing a system approach to the format in performance events. The Space Hub was designed for low latency processing of up to 128 objects x 128 output channels, using the 3D panning algorithms selectable per object within its Space software. The new solution, presented at the Tonmeistertagung 2021 conference in Dusseldorf, also explores the advantages of CODA's linear–phase loudspeaker designs.
