Hooke Audio Launches Hooke Lav Mobile Bluetooth Lavalier Microphone Campaign

Hooke Audio, the company that previously developed the Hooke Verse binaural recording headset, is now launching a new KickStarter campaign to promote its latest development, the Hooke Lav. While there are many affordable lavalier microphones that connect to wireless transmitters and even Bluetooth, the Hooke Lav gets a few things right. First its design is "lapel" friendly and will look nice on-camera. Secondly, the updated Bluetooth technology means it might actually work better.

Hooke Audio announced the release of Hooke App Version 2, a major software update now available as a free download for all Hooke Verse iOS and Android users. The Hooke 3D audio and video capture app offers new flexibility and enhanced features for optimal video and binaural audio recording, like support for 720, 1080 and 4K videos, new 24fps frame rate, and other features available on newer smartphones, plus enhanced wireless Bluetooth performance. The Hooke Version 2.0 App is available as a free download for all new and registered users from the App Store and Google Play.

Like the previous conference that was held in 2016 in Aalborg, Denmark, the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Headphone Technology Conference in San Francisco, was a very successful and insightful event for all the participants. The Presidio park venue was also idyllic with the usual crisp waterfront weather. Perhaps too successful, as the event was sold out before it opened.
