VOXX International Confirms Joint Venture Agreement With Sharp To Acquire Onkyo Home Entertainment Business

VOXX International announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Premium Audio Company, and Sharp have successfully entered into a joint venture to acquire certain assets of the audio/video business of Onkyo Home Entertainment Corporation. This follows the Asset Purchase Agreement signed by the parties as announced on May 3, 2021. Premium Audio will own Onkyo and Integra products, IP and brands, and will market and sell the Pioneer and Pioneer Elite brands worldwide, except in China.

VOXX International Corporation announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire the Home Audio/Video business of Onkyo Home Entertainment Corporation, along with Sharp Corporation as its partner. Enclave Audio, the Californian manufacturer of immersive wireless audio systems for home entertainment environments, announced it is now shipping add-on wireless subwoofers for its CineHome II and THX Certified CineHome PRO wireless home theater systems. This includes additional 8" wireless subwoofers available for CineHome II systems and 10" models for CineHome PRO systems.
