PMC Launches Multichannel Amp For Immersive Audio Applications

UK manufacturer PMC has launched a new multichannel amplifier specifically designed to meet the needs of the professional immersive audio and home cinema markets requiring multiple speakers. Designed for PMC by British manufacturer Linea Research, the eight-channel 750-8 is able to power any passive PMC speaker, offering a massive power output of 750 watts per channel, or 1,500 watts per channel when bridged and configured as a four-channel amplifier.

This capacity lowers the cost of Atmos-based soundbars and minimizes the number of speakers required for true immersive audio.
