NAD Electronics Launches Retro-Inspired C 3050 Stereophonic Amplifier

Hifi components with wood panels are back! NAD Electronics is the latest audio manufacturer to embark on the retro trend with the C 3050 Stereophonic Amplifier. The classic seventies hifi component will be introduced at the 2023 High End show in Munich, Germany, where demonstration sessions of the C 3050 Stereophonic Amplifier will run in Room D108 in Atrium 3. Retro design elements include front-panel VU meters, push-button input controls, 1970s cursive branding, walnut-finished vinyl-clad cabinet, and a dark grey front panel.

Peachtree Audio, the Canadian amplifier manufacturer renowned for its compact retro aesthetics, and Lenbrook International, the owner and developer of the market-leading BluOS high-resolution multiroom platform, announced a global partnership that will bring the BluOS streaming platform to upcoming Peachtree Audio products. With this new agreement, the BluOS ecosystem adds a new premium hardware partner to its best-in-class platform.

Following a preview at CES 2020, the highly anticipated amplifier of the year 2020 by NAD Electronics - the first company to license Purifi Audio's amplifier technology - is now shipping! NAD M33 is the latest BluOS enabled DAC/amplifier that can serve as the heart of a reference whole-home system. And it can obviously be combined with a BluOS ecosystem of wirelessly networked music players, creating a whole-home audio system.

NAD Electronics is previewing another exciting Masters Series release at CES 2020! The M33 is a BluOS enabled DAC/amplifier that will also be the brand's first product to feature Purifi Audio's new amplification technology. For NAD Electronics, the 2016 High End show, in Munich, Germany was all about the excitement of high-performance and high resolution audio. Complementing the five existing Master Series components, NAD announced two new additions, the M32 Direct Digital Amplifier and M50.2 Digital Music Player, both running the brand’s dedicated BluOS operating system with support for popular music services and High Resolution Audio.
