Creative Live! Audio A3 USB-C High-Resolution Audio Interface

Creative Technology announced the release of the Creative Live! Audio A3, a new simplified USB audio interface designed for the needs of content creators and streamers, with a direct appeal to music enthusiasts. Featuring high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz recording and playback, versatile I/O connectivity, onboard level controls, and zero-latency direct monitoring, the Creative Live! Audio A3 is a well-designed solution, in the best tradition of the Sound Blaster company.

A new audio interface from Cambridge, MA-based Mark of The Unicorn (MOTU), directly targeted at home and project studios, stands-out for its combination of features, specifications and design. MOTU is now shipping the M6, a new USB-C bus-powered audio interface for Mac, Windows and iOS offering audio quality, ultra-low latency, and best-in-class metering with a full-color LCD. And it features ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC converters, including for the two headphone outputs, with independent volume control.

Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) has resumed sample shipments of 13 Velvet Sound D/A converters (DAC) and A/D converters (ADC) products - all part of a new generation of improved devices. The samples start shipping in January 2022. Mass production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2022. The new range of devices include new 115dB and 768kHz 32-bit DACs in 2, 4, 6, and 8-channel models, plus nine new 32-bit ADCs in 2, 4, and 8 channel models including the AK5522 ADC, ideal for bus-powered USB audio interfaces.
