IsoAcoustics Introduces V120 Mount Isolation and Aiming Solution for Immersive Audio

Following a first presentation at the NAMM Show, in June 2022, IsoAcoustics announced the official release of the new V120 Mount for wall and ceiling-mounted speakers in professional and home project studios. This is a much-needed, and extremely useful solution for immersive audio installations in studios or any type of listening rooms, based on established IsoAcoustics' patented isolation technology, combined with a range of mounting and aiming accessories.

Finally! 30 months after the original announcement that the technology promoted by the Wireless Speaker and Audio Association would be able to support Dolby Atmos height channels, WiSA Technologies confirms that the new Monaco 5.1.2 speaker system from Platin Audio will be the first fully immersive, multichannel, separates-based home theater system on the market to be WiSA HT Certified and Dolby Atmos enabled.

Dolby Laboratories and COMSOL join the Audio Product Education Institute in a discussion on the role of modeling and measurements in the loudspeaker design process. The webinar, June 16 (12pm EDT) shares speaker design project experiences, detailing how simulation, measurements, and experiments help in meeting projects' requirements. The use of simulation in audio system design and multiphysics modeling of loudspeakers is addressed.

Among the multiple Harman product announcements at CES 2021, the JBL Synthesis range received important custom residential additions. The JBL Synthesis range now includes the top performance SCL-1 loudspeaker and the matching SSW-1 subwoofer, both designed for no-compromise immersive audio systems and featuring patented JBL technologies. Complementing the JBL Synthesis range for immersive audio are four new SCL loudspeaker for residential installation.
