Grado GW100x Wireless Open-Back Headphones with Superior Bluetooth Performance Now Available

Grado's first wireless headphones become even better. Following the announcement of the renewed Wireless headphones featuring fourth generation X series drivers, earlier in 2022, Grado now launched the GW100x Bluetooth open-back headphones – the third model in its wireless series. The GW100 is an unusual open-back Bluetooth model, combining the new X series driver design with a Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.2 wireless module with aptX Adaptive, and improved 46-hour battery life.

Grado introduced the new Statement Series, which brings fourth-generation X Drivers to the wooden GS3000x and GS1000x models. The GS1000x combines mahogany and ipê wood, while the GS3000x houses the brand's most powerful driver yet inside a metal chamber surrounded by a single body of cocobolo wood. Along with the superior sound these new drivers produce, the GS3000x and GS1000x also feature Grado's improved 12-conductor braided cable and new headbands. Both are hand assembled in Brooklyn, New York.

Grado Labs, the headphone and phono cartridge manufacturing shop founded in 1953 - still family owned, and operating out of the same Brooklyn building where they started - just recently announced a major renovation of its headphone range with the updated Prestige Series. All the five models in that series are now marked with an X, to signal the presence of the 4th generation of Grado headphone drivers, named "X Drivers." And each of the new Prestige Series headphones is also built with a new cable and new headband.
