Studio Technologies Expands Dante-Enabled Infrastructure Audio Options

Studio Technologies, a manufacturer of high-quality professional audio and broadcast solutions headquartered in Skokie, Illinois, introduced two Dante Leader Clocks for supporting the timing needs of Dante-compliant devices, including a model with GNSS Synchronization. The company also continues to expand its range of Dante-based intercom solutions with the introduction of a new Model 5422A Dante Audio Engine, featuring auto mix and expanded network connectivity.

Audinate, the developer behind the industry-leading Dante AV networking technology, has announced version 1.1 of Dante Domain Manager. This update to Dante Domain Manager brings key improvements and new features to users and integrators, with support for SMPTE 2110 devices, AES67 exchange, new flexible installation options, GPS clock synchronization, improved email alerts and notifications, and secure access to LDAP and SMTP servers.

Following an earlier presentation at SXSW 2018, of the new Bose AR, the company's concept for an audio augmented reality platform, in the shape of glasses to hear, the Massachusetts company now announced Frames, a product combining the protection and style of premium sunglasses, the functionality and performance of wireless headphones, and the world’s first audio augmented reality platform, combined into a single product. And Bose intends to develop a family of dedicated augmented reality apps for Frames.

The Lotus by SEAM, a new personal safety wearable device, is now available for purchase at the Canadian company's website. Available for $129.95, the Lotus wearable device comes with a 1.7-ounce mobile charging case that can keep the Lotus powered for up to 42 hours. A portion of all Lotus sales will benefit the Canadian Women's Foundation, a national non-profit organization that empowers women and girls to move out of poverty, out of violence, and into confidence and leadership.
