KRK Announces Limited Edition ROKIT G4 “White Noise” Studio Monitors

A great white finish for good sounding speakers, with an unfortunate name? KRK Systems, part of the Gibson family of brands, added a new family of studio monitors to its latest ROKIT Generation 4 (G4) range, the limited edition ROKIT G4 White Noise. Available in 5-, 7-, and 8-inch bi-amp models, these limited-edition monitors offer the same impressive features as the newly released ROKIT G4s, but with an enticingly different aesthetic.

KRK Systems is one of the most popular monitor brands in the global home studio market and for a good reason. KRK studio monitors provide a reliable reproduction for recording and mixing in less than ideal environments, while providing great value per watt compared to existing alternatives. The KRK Rokit family is practically a flagship of the brand in terms of affordability and features, and the company completely refreshed the range with the new ROKIT G4 series, introducing DSP-driven LCD On-board EQ Presets.

At CES 2019, Harman introduced the JBL 4312G studio monitor, another modern take on the classic JBL loudspeaker line - which seems to be the trend for the consumer side of the brand in the last two years. Crafted in the mold of the legendary 4310/4311 family, and the more recent 70th Anniversary 4312SE, the 4312G is said to deliver “thundering, clear bass, with crystalline and precise highs, even at the highest listening levels.” We are not sure those would be the arguments that would persuade us to invest in the vintage concept of this high-performance studio monitor.
