Solid State Logic Introduces SSL 12 USB-C Desktop Audio Interface

Solid State Logic announced the new SSL 12 USB-C desktop audio interface. The new SSL 12, priced at $499, is a 12-in 8-out bus-powered audio interface that combines professional features in a portable desktop format. Building on the success of ​the existing SSL 2 and SSL 2+ interface models, the new SSL 12 expands in almost every way; more microphone preamplifiers, enhanced headphone performance, advanced routing and monitor controls, ADAT input, as well as next-gen converters delivering superior audio performance.

DPA Microphones is shining the spotlight on its range of bodyworn and miniature microphones. The Danish company is launching a new campaign highlighting the benefits of using these small and versatile microphones to record high quality audio. During IBC 2015, DPA will exhibit the latest additions to its range of microphones.

DPA Microphones introduced two new broadcast microphones at NAB 2015. Together with the new d:facto Interview Microphone, the Danish company is introducing the new d:fine In-Ear Broadcast Headset Microphone, targeted at broadcast hosts who use in-ear monitors to communicate with their producers backstage or to hear foldback from people interviewed outside the studio.
