Audient Expands EVO Range with SP8 With 8-Channel Smart Mic Preamp

Audient expanded its EVO range of USB-C audio interfaces with the EVO SP8 8-Channel Smart Mic Preamp ada AD/DA converter, a compact unit combining 8 microphone/line inputs, 8 line outputs, and two ADAT I/O connections, allowing it to handle multi-mic recording sessions with ease. Building upon its successful EVO range of audio recording equipment, Audient designed the EVO SP8 to expand the possibilities of its EVO audio interface range for bigger multitrack sessions.

British audio company Audient announces the launch of the latest product in its EVO by Audient range, until now available in two-, and four-channel USB-C audio interfaces. The new EVO 16 is a 24 inputs and 24 outputs audio interface, featuring eight EVO preamplifiers, advanced converter technology, as well as the company's Smartgain feature which can be used on all 8 channels simultaneously, and is a basic feature of EVO interfaces to ‘make recording easy’.

With strict lockdowns again in place at the start of 2021, some companies have managed to stay busy and have new products to share with the world. UK-based Audient unveiled a brand new logo and corporate image, a redesigned website, and unveiled three new products, all particularly suitable to working from home.
