Xuron Introduces ESD-Safe Cutters and Pliers for Precision PCB Assembly and Repairs

Xuron Corp. of Saco, Maine, introduced a full line of ergonomic cutters and pliers that are ideally suited for precise electronic applications such as reaching into densely populated printed circuit boards. Being the original inventor of the Micro-Shear blade by-pass cutting technology used on all its cutters, Xuron now expands its range of products for electronics professionals and enthusiasts with new electrostatic discharge-safe (ESD-safe) cutters and pliers.

MagnaChip Semiconductor, a designer and manufacturer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products from South Korea, announced the company is entering the wireless earphone market with the introduction of a new MOSFET solution that helps preventing the battery in these wireless devices from overcharging. This MOSFET is designed to control excessive current flowing into wireless earphones while recharging the battery in order to protect wireless earphones from being damaged.
