Shure Launches New Nexadyne Instrument Microphones at NAMM 2025

Shure announced the expansion of its Nexadyne product line with the introduction of three all-new dynamic instrument microphones: the Nexadyne 2 Kick Drum Microphone, Nexadyne 5 Guitar Amp Microphone, and Nexadyne 6 Tom/Snare Microphone. Each Nexadyne microphone boasts Shure’s patented Revonic Dual-Engine transducer technology, which combines two transducers to capture and reject unwanted noise, allowing greater control of the microphone’s acoustic response.

But the German microphone manufacturer is also looking to its past for inspiration and to maintain its products competitive in today's market. The new MD 421 Kompakt is an appropriately named, compact version of one of its most legendary microphones, the Sennheiser MD 421. This redesign doesn't compromise on the performance of its large-diaphragm capsule, making the MD 421 Kompakt an even more versatile dynamic microphone.

Audix Microphones has announced the DP4 Instrument Pack, a combination of four essential mics for rhythm sections, making the life of musicians and sound engineers easier. The new pack consists of the iconic Audix D6 microphone and three i5 microphones in a heavy-duty carrying case. The case also includes three DFLEX mic mounts and three additional cutouts for vocal microphones.
