Synthax Named U.S. Distributor for Swiss Audio Networking Specialist Appsys Pro Audio

Synthax, the distributor of premium German interface manufacturer RME, German converter manufacturer Ferrofish and personal monitor mixer myMix, has announced at that it is now distributing Switzerland-based Appsys Pro Audio to the U.S., Canada and Latin America, effective immediately. Synthax will highlight Appsys products at its booth 5150 during InfoComm 2019 from June 12–14, 2019, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

DirectOut Updates MONTONE.42 Firmware with ST 2110-31 Support

A major firmware update has been released for the MONTONE.42, DirectOut’s MADI to Ravenna/AES67 converter. According to the German networked audio and interconnectivity specialist, the transparent transport of AES3 audio data over IP is now possible with the MONTONE.42 through the newly added ST 2110-31 support. Meanwhile, DirectOut Technologies also announced the appointment of a new distributor in the US for the non-broadcast related pro audio market segment of the industry.

Audio and high-fidelity French specialist, Vervent Audio Group has announced the acquisition of Audio Plus Services & Plurison — distributors of high-end and professional audio equipment in the US and Canada. Among those, Sony is promoting an all new music experience called "360 Reality Audio,” delivered by MPEG-H object-based spatial audio technology developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer IIS and promoted as “a new musical ecosystem for content creation, distribution and music playback.”
