Synopsys Introduces USB 3.1 Type-C IP with DisplayPort 1.3 and HDCP 2.2 for High-Bandwidth Data Transfer with Content Protection

Synopsys announced its DesignWare IP solution to accelerate development of SoCs delivering secure video, data and power over a single USB Type-C connector. Synopsys new DesignWare USB-C 3.1/DisplayPort 1.3 IP subsystems, prototyping kits and software development kits create a comprehensive development platform for USB Type-C IP designs, allowing flexible hardware and software partitioning to implement differentiating USB Type-C features while maintaining USB Type-C compatibility.
