Dirac Research Appoints Peter Cedmer to Head of Product Management XR Audio

Continuing the expansion of its XR Business Unit, Dirac Research announced the appointment of Peter Cedmer as Head of Product Management, XR Audio. The former Chief Technology Officer of Jays Headphones brings years of audio experience and a valuable consumer perspective to the company’s young and fast-growing XR business unit. Peter will be responsible for managing the company’s current XR product portfolio and developing future product roadmaps.

Dirac Research announced new achievements in 3D audio processing for virtual and augmented reality that drive the industry closer to the long-sought goal of true virtual immersion. These achievements build on the company’s previous 3D audio breakthroughs and are included in the second-generation Dirac VR solution that’s debuting at Mobile World Congress 2018 2018 in Hall 2, Stand 2B64MR.
