Dirac Live Bass Control Now Available Through Leading Home Theater Manufacturers

Swedish sound processing pioneer Dirac announced that Dirac Live Bass Control, the latest feature of Dirac Live room correction, is now officially available on multiple home theater systems and in a range of products from a series of leading AVR manufacturers. Dirac Live Bass Control measures and phase corrects both the speakers and subwoofers across all frequencies to produce enhanced bass clarity and improved bass tone evenness throughout the room.

The M33 is a BluOS enabled DAC/amplifier that will also be the brand's first product to feature Purifi Audio's new amplification technology. In its simplest form, the NAD M33 is an ultra-high-performance 200W amplifier that can serve as the heart of a reference whole-home system. Swedish sound processing pioneer Dirac announced the residential AV market debut of Dirac Live Bass Management, a unique room acoustics solution that optimizes a system’s subwoofers and speakers to deliver consistent, accurate bass throughout an entire room. The introduction will be made at CEDIA 2019, at Colorado Convention Center in Denver, where Arcam, JBL Synthesis, NAD Electronics and StormAudio will be also the first manufacturers to feature Dirac Live Bass Management in their AV products.

Swedish sound pioneer Dirac Research announced its all-new Dirac Live Bass Management Module that improves bass performance and, according to the company, "Provides the most sophisticated, easy-to-use multi-subwoofer optimization solution for both consumers and professional technology integrators." The solution leverages a proprietary approach to subwoofer system optimization to produce "far smoother and tighter bass than existing solutions," the company adds. Dirac will debut the new module at CES 2019.
