MUTEC Launches REF10 NANO 10MHz Reference Master Clock

Berlin-based manufacturer of audio equipment for studio professionals and high end enthusiasts, MUTEC GmbH announced the release of the REF10 NANO, a new focused version of an audiophile 10MHz reference master clock with the superior quality one should expect from a clocking specialist. The new REF10 NANO Reference Master Clock is based on the already well-established REF10, but transfers its technology into a new, significantly lower price range.

Merging Technologies, the innovative Swiss manufacturer of digital audio solutions, has announced a new software configuration for its Anubis compact AD/DA converter and audio network recording interface. Now, the Anubis receives a Personal Monitor Mixer configuration, or Venue Mission, for musicians and performance applications. Merging also recently launched an interpretation configuration for the Anubis, in collaboration with Sennheiser.

Sennheiser announced the acquisition of Swiss company Merging Technologies - one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-resolution digital audio recording systems and a leading innovator in audio networking technology. According to the announcement, Merging Technologies will be working under the umbrella of the Sennheiser group to enlarge the Neumann range of products. A new Neumann audio recording interface will be the first visible product of the combination.

RME Audio, the German manufacturer of premium audio interfaces, has announced today that its interfaces are already compatible with the latest macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 which was released in November 2020. RME interfaces are now compatible with both Intel-based and the new M1 ARM-based Mac systems running the latest Apple OS. Since RME drivers are written in-house and not outsourced to third party developers, RME’s users are able to update their firmware immediately and continue working without interruption or delay.

Using the extra time available for development allowed by the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on other activities, German developer DirectOut has greatly expanded the capabilities of its PRODIGY Series with the release of new firmware for both the PRODIGY.MC (Modular Audio Converter) and PRODIGY.MP (Multifunction Audio Processor). The result, the company says, is a "prodigious" evolution, with both firmware and software updates that considerably expand features, redundancy, and versatility.
