Allen & Heath Launches New ZED Mini Mixers

Allen & Heath has launched three new mini mixers from its acclaimed ZED analogue console range, including the first ZEDi hybrid mixer / USB interface. The ZED-6, ZED-6FX and ZEDi-8 are designed with all the features and quality required by musicians, recording artists and for AV work, in a compact, portable format.

At the 2015 NAMM Show there were lots of new products, some larger, some smaller. Yamaha introduced just the right kind of “smaller” with its affordable and innovative new AG Series hybrid mixers and 24-bit/192kHz USB audio interfaces, creating a new category, perfect for multiple uses with computer and iOS devices.

Mackie announced the launch of the new Mix Series Compact Mixers with three new models, the Mix5 5-Channel Compact Mixer, the Mix8 8-Channel Compact Mixer and the Mix12FX 12-Channel Compact Mixer with Effects. Unfortunately they have no faders. Only the larger model features a master fader. But they are rugged… and cheap.
