Soundking Group Announces Strategic Relocation of Cadac Production to UK

Cadac, the famous British brand acquired by the Soundking Group in 2009, confirmed the strategic decision to relocate manufacturing of its new CM-System digital mixing consoles back to the United Kingdom. The move marks a significant transition from its previous China production base under the Soundking Group. The reenergized company says the return to UK manufacturing addresses evolving cost structures of global distribution, supply timelines and customer support agility.

Meyer Sound announced the acquisition of a company called Audio Rhapsody (not to be confused with high-end audio equipment supplier Rhapsody.Audio), which is in fact a business founded by acclaimed sound designer Jonathan Deans of Broadway and Las Vegas fame. With the acquisition, Meyer Sound strengthens its position in theater sound solutions, utilizing Deans’ expertise to develop software solutions to expand the company’s portfolio of integrated digital systems.

d&b audiotechnik released version 3 of En-Snap, the d&b Soundscape cue automation and show control software provided in collaboration by d&b and Gareth Owen Sound. This major update enables positioning and editing of Soundscape objects, focusing on creative workflows and FoH for immersive live applications. d&b also introduced En-Bridge software, expanding Soundscape interoperability with 3rd party systems, improved console control, new BlackTrax tracking system support, and more.
