Sound Solutions Austria Presents World's First Actuator Loudspeaker for Stereo Sound

The micro-acoustics experts at Sound Solutions Austria GmbH have developed a compact actuator that is able to ensure stereo sound quality when used to transform the display of increasingly thin smartphones and tablets into a loudspeaker. According to the Vienna-based company, the new “Singing Display” actuator is ideal for space-saving, waterproof designs, extending the response beyond what is possible with conventional speakers technologies, by being applied directly to the back of the large tablet or smartphone screen surfaces.

Ascendo Immersive Audio has introduced four versions of its much-anticipated CCRM15 speaker system, now available in passive and powered active models and with Titanium or Beryllium drivers. The 15" point-source axi-symmetric speaker has been designed as a screen channel for large theaters as left, center and right channels or can be used for very large theaters as a surround bed speaker. The CCRM15 Beryllium is now the top performing coaxial model from Ascendo.

Among the multiple Harman product announcements at CES 2021, the JBL Synthesis range received important custom residential additions. The JBL Synthesis range now includes the top performance SCL-1 loudspeaker and the matching SSW-1 subwoofer, both designed for no-compromise immersive audio systems and featuring patented JBL technologies. Complementing the JBL Synthesis range for immersive audio are four new SCL loudspeaker for residential installation.
