Yamaha Introduces New DM7 Digital Mixers Series for All Production Needs

Yamaha announced its new DM7 series of professional digital mixers. Following the announcement of the DM3 Series compact digital mixing consoles in April, the Japanese company now applies its decades of development experience to create a completely new family for all production needs. The DM7 series takes the best elements of Yamaha's previous digital mixing systems and combines them with innovative new features in a powerful and expandable package.

QSC announced the addition of Automatic Microphone Mixing (Auto Mix) to the company’s popular TouchMix-30 Pro digital mixer. Providing two independent processors available to all of the mixer’s 24 Mic/Line inputs, the easy-to-configure and use Auto Mix function delivers advanced gain sharing capabilities to audio professionals for applications such as conferences, presentations, panel discussions and theatrical sound reinforcement.

During InfoComm 2018, Allen & Heath has unveiled SQ-7, the new 33 fader flagship console in its 96kHz SQ series. Following hot on the heels of the hit launch of SQ-5 and SQ-6, the new SQ-7 takes the same powerful XCVI 96kHz FPGA engine and adds extended control and I/O in a larger format, boasting 33 faders, 32 onboard preamps, 16 custom soft keys and 8 user-definable soft rotary controls, as well as advanced automatic mic mixers (AMM’s) fully integrated in the mixer, with no extra latency. The console also features a robust all metal chassis, with an extruded aluminum light bar, ready for touring.
