AntennaWare Introduces New BodyWave UWB Antennas at Embedded World 2024

Embedded World, in Nuremberg, Germany (April 9-11, 2024) will be the first opportunity for AntennaWare to present their new BodyWave antennas, which strengthen the company’s offering in the UWB frequency. Available in 2.4Ghz, DECT and UWB models, BodyWave antennas generate waves that flow efficiently around the body and support a communication link even when the body is blocking the signal. This new range of three BodyWave UWB antennas expand options for compact wearable applications.

On the first day of MWC Barcelona 2024, Ceva announced the general release of its RivieraWaves ultra-wideband (UWB) IP for FiRa 2.0, the latest technical specification released by the FiRa industry consortium promoting standardization and compliance efforts for the widespread adoption of UWB-driven applications. RivieraWaves UWB IP for FiRa 2.0 extends Ceva’s market reach into high-volume UWB navigation, detection and remote control use cases in the smart home, consumer electronics and more.

CEVA has announced support for Channel Sounding to its RivieraWaves Bluetooth IP portfolio, meeting the surging demand for high-accuracy secure positioning in the automotive, industrial and broader connected devices markets. This low power positioning technology is ideal for secure distance bounding applications such as secure vehicle entry, access control, asset tracking, and more.

CEVA announced the general release of its RivieraWaves Bluetooth 5.1 IP and multiple license agreements already signed with leading semiconductor companies. Supporting the headline new feature of Direction Finding via Angle of Arrival (AoA) and Angle of Departure (AoD) for enhanced location services, the RW-Bluetooth 5.1 IP is available in both Bluetooth Dual Mode and Bluetooth Low Energy flavors.
