Arkamys Meets Demand for Premium Audio in the New Jishi 01 Luxury SUV

With the Jishi 01 all-terrain luxury SUV, Jishi Auto has tapped into China’s and overseas fast-growing demand for high-end in-car experiences. The Jishi 01 was designed to provide drivers and passengers with the full luxury experience, including premium sound quality. Arkamys delivered the intended experience thanks to the seamless SoundStage advanced audio software integration without the need for bulky hardware.

Audio signal processing specialist Arkamys announced that his SoundStage Audio Software Suite will be deployed to Analog Devices' portfolio of SHARC audio processors beginning in early 2022. With no hardware modifications required, the SoundStage solutions provide cutting-edge audio features for automotive with an emphasis on fast time to market. This announcement is the result of a long history of close collaboration between Arkamys and the semiconductor company headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts.

During CES 2018, NXP Semiconductors had the most impressive presence among semiconductor manufacturers. To address the convergence of immersive sensory experiences fueled by voice, video and audio demands, NXP has launched the i.MX 8M family of applications processors, combining robust media capabilities on one single chip. Arkamys and MSC Technologies, already announced support for the new 64-bit processor family.

ARKAMYS, a French company specializing in digital sound processing for automotive solutions announced a partnership with Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) to enhance in-vehicle immersive audio experience for drivers and passengers. ARKAMYS successfully ported its audio enhancement software solution SoundStage Core on AKM’s AK7738 digital signal processor (DSP), leveraging the platform capabilities to enhance the surround sound effect achieved inside the car.
