MaxLinear Presents Breakthrough AirPHY Multi-Gigabit Wireless Technology

MaxLinear, a leading provider of radio frequency (RF), analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for the connected home, wired and wireless infrastructure, announced its AirPHY technology that enables data to be transferred wirelessly through typical building materials with an aggregate throughput of up to 2.5 Gbps. Presented at IBC 2017, AirPHY technology promises the delivery of multi-Gigabit data rates through concrete walls and non-metallic barriers up to 12-inches thick.
