Genelec Showcases New S360 High SPL Loudspeaker at ISE 2019

Genelec is expanding its expertise and global recognition in professional studio monitoring also into residential and commercial installations. But now the Finish company introduced a new loudspeaker that takes it even further, to the realms of sound reinforcement in venues and clubs. At ISE 2019, the company introduced the new high SPL S360 smart active loudspeaker, which the company says can be “a formidable contender for any installation environment where the emphasis is placed on premium quality, high SPL vocal and music reproduction in a compact form factor.”

Who would have thought? QSC, one of the most recognized amplifier companies - which made a successful transition to active loudspeakers nine years ago - now introduces the E Series of passive loudspeakers at NAMM 2016. According to the Costa Mesa, CA, company, the new series takes advantage of advanced DSP when used as part of a complete QSC system.

Crown Audio announced its new Empower by Crown initiative, a new embedded amplifier program to provide third-party active loudspeaker manufacturers of finished product with special access to its portfolio of amplifier technology. The new Empowered by Crown Amplifier modules are built on the proprietary DriveCore platform and are designed for integration into virtually any loudspeaker configuration and application.
