KEF Launches R Series Speakers with Metamaterial Absorption Technology

KEF launched its latest R Series with a Metamaterial absorber on the tweeter. The same groundbreaking Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) technology first used in the LS50 Meta speakers, is now expanded in the updated R Series, together with a 12th generation Uni-Q driver, and a flexible decoupling chassis that prevents unwanted vibrations for better clarity. The seven-model range is available in stereo or home theater setups, in a choice of three stunning finishes.

Capitalizing on successful research and significant improvements demonstrated by the KEF LS50 Meta speakers, the British hifi brand has officially launched the latest updates to their high-end loudspeaker offerings – Blade and The Reference. The two ranges have been updated with KEF’s latest acoustic innovations, including a new, high-end 12th Generation Uni-Q with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). The Blade Meta and Reference Meta loudspeakers are now available.
