Sennheiser and Pink Floyd Create Unique Immersive Live Experience of Comfortably Numb Live in AMBEO 3D

The mastermind producers behind the brand new AMBEO Mix for The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains, Senior Sound Engineers Simon Rhodes and Simon Franglen came together to remix the last live performance of Pink Floyd. Using the AMBEO 3D Audio Technology in the Abbey Road Studio Two, they are working on a sound experience which allows the audience to hear more details of the song and walk around inside the music of Pink Floyd.

Martin Audio released details of a new book, “The Martin Audio Experience”, which is destined to grace the discerning coffee tables of the industry. A glossy hardback book featuring nearly 150 photographs charts the history of Martin Audio, from its humble yet highly transformative Dave Martin origins right through to the modern day era of MLA.

The 137th Audio Engineering Society Convention at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles will feature an opening keynote address from acclaimed engineer, musician, and record producer, Alan Parsons. On Friday, the convention will feature a keynote address by Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy.

Alan Parsons and Julian Colbeck will present “Alan Parsons’ Art & Science of Sound Recording: The Book”, a complete rewrite and reappraisal based on the award-winning DVD set at the 137th AES in Los Angeles.
