Skyworks to Acquire Wireless Audio, Voice and Speech Processing Specialist Avnera Corporation

Skyworks Solutions announced it signed a definitive agreement to purchase Avnera Corporation, the developer of Analog System on Chips (ASoCs) and one of the main technology providers for audio development in the areas of analog/mixed signal audio, voice and speech processing engines. Avnera solutions are used by many reputed consumer electronics brands for all wireless audio applications as well as Bluetooth, Lightning and USB-C product development.

Pioneer Home Entertainment U.S.A introduced Rayz Rally, the first Lightning-powered portable speaker that turns any iPhone into a conference speakerphone loud enough to fill a boardroom. Rally joins Pioneer’s innovative line of Rayz headphones for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that blend the intelligence of an iOS app with Apple's Lightning interface to deliver completely new experiences not possible through the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pioneer & Onkyo U.S.A Corporation have announced a new "Smart Mute" feature for the Rayz and Rayz Plus Lightning earphones, along with new Rayz Plus colors - Black and Rose Gold - which are available exclusively at Apple.com and at Apple Retail stores worldwide.
