ATC Announces New SCM20ASL Limited Edition Loudspeaker

In celebration of the beginning of its 50th Anniversary initiatives, Acoustic Transducer Company (ATC) announced the forthcoming release of an exclusive new active stand mount loudspeaker, the SCM20ASL Limited Edition. The ATC 50th Anniversary Limited Edition SCM20ASL Loudspeakers feature an exclusive ATC blue high lacquer finish with hand-upholstered royal blue full-grain Napa leather front baffle and can be paired with a matching C4 SUB MK2 Limited Edition with silver anodized amp hardware.

The Acoustic Transducer Company (ATC) announced the production of the C4 Sub Mk 2 active subwoofer system, expanding its hifi range of home audio products. Designed to unite the highest standards of driver and electronics in a single system, the C4 Sub Mk 2 deploys an all-new proprietary 12-inch SS75-314SC sub-bass driver, powered by a newly developed 300W class AB amplifier design, both elements hand-built and installed within a substantial cabinet at the company’s Stroud-based production HQ.

ATC announced upcoming availability of the SCM25A Pro Mk2 as a compact, three-way, high-performance active monitor — maintaining the core of its popular predecessor from which it evolved while refining key areas of design and performance, including replacing the original SCM25A Pro’s OEM high-frequency driver with the specialist British manufacturer’s own ‘S-SPEC’ SH25-76S premium soft-dome, dual-suspension tweeter.

Built to provide a dynamic low-distortion bass foundation for ATC’s Entry Series speakers, its C1C and C3C center speakers, HTS Series on-wall speakers and all but the largest satellite speaker systems, the new C1 Sub Mk 2 is a compact real wood veneered design, incorporating a hand-built 12” (314mm) ATC bass driver and a fully discrete ATC 200W MOSFET power amplifier. Faithful to the signal, the new C1 Subwoofer design will generate deeper, cleaner bass in the sub-$3,500 market.

According to ATC, the new monitors allow more consistent results and reduced listening fatigue.
