Broaman and Optocore Expand Route66 Router Series for Critical Signal Distribution Applications

At this year’s IBC 2016, BroaMan/Optocore found the perfect platform from which to springboard its new Route66 family of routers. The company introduced three new versions to the Route66 signal router range, adding increased flexibility and efficiencies. The German company carried on where they left off at the NAB 2016 show, where they introduced the new Route66 AutoRouter concept, closing the ring automatically once a mobile stagebox is added or removed.

Having already made a major commitment to the MADI standard (AES10), Optocore announced a significant extension at the 2015 Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt. The new advanced MADI range (M Series) includes the M8 and M12 units with coaxial, fibre and Cat5 interfaces, including two Optocore own hi-speed fibre uplinks.

BroaMan (Broadcast Manufactur GmbH), the brand created by Optocore to address specificaly the broadcast, production and professional AV integration applications, reported it is shipping its Mux22 MADI device, which makes its scalable and protocol independent platform compatible with the industry standard MADI audio format.
