Audient is now shipping the ORIA, it's all in one USB-C audio interface and monitor controller unveiled at NAMM 2024. ORIA was designed specifically for immersive audio and multi-speaker arrays ranging from stereo up to 9.1.6 setups, supporting mixing for formats such as Dolby Atmos. It features built-in Sonarworks Reference DSP for room acoustics and speaker calibration, and it can effortlessly integrate an existing studio setup as a standalone monitor controller via its ADAT Inputs.

Scott A. Wurcer – An Audio Legend Left Us

Scott Wurcer from Cambridge Mass passed away on March 18, at the age of 74. Scott was one of those people who made a technical contribution to audio that can hardly be overstated. His analog IC designs for Analog Devices are legendary for their creative design and extremely high performance. Scott loved a good life, and I shared many exquisite meals and great wines with him. I will miss him.
