Summit Wireless Technologies Presents Wireless Multi-Channel Home Theater Audio Design Considerations for TV Applications

Summit Wireless Technologies, the company providing immersive, wireless sound technology for intelligent devices and next-generation home entertainment systems and the founding member of the WiSA Association, will present an online event about wireless multichannel audio for home theaters. The presentation, scheduled for February 10, 2021, is promoted by the SID – Society for Information Display.
Tony Parker, VP New Business Development & Product Strategy and Summit Wireless Founding Member, will discuss wireless audio design considerations for TVs and discuss WiSA interoperability with a growing number of home devices at the SID – Society for Information Display on February 10th.

The talk will touch on connectivity, setup options and the necessary audio decode support. To conclude, the presenter will review key technology requirements for wireless audio transmission resulting in acceptable lip-sync, speaker sync, and RF performance and the importance of consumers expectations for interoperability (Wireless Speaker and Audio (WiSA) association).
