Neat Microphones, the innovative brand of digital USB and analog microphones that is now from Turtle Beach Corporation, revealed the Bumblebee II Professional Cardioid USB Condenser Microphone, the latest microphone unveiled as part of Neat’s all-new 2021 line-up. Neat recently launched also the new Worker Bee II XLR condenser microphone for high-SPL recording, which complements the already available King Bee II XLR microphone, all available at affordable prices and combining an impressive design and set of features.

The new Bumblebee II is Neat Microphones’ all-new USB condenser microphone featuring professional-quality 24-bit/96kHz digital audio for just $99.99 MSRP. This is the latest impressive design to emerge from the same experts that founded Blue Microphones and pioneered USB microphones. The Bumblebee II is Neat’s successor to their original acclaimed Bumblebee mic and obviously improves on the predecessor by delivering even higher quality audio capture while maintaining its exceptional $99.99 MSRP.

“Bumblebee II features a 25mm capsule – larger than any other product in its price range – that delivers full, rich sound that will set a new standard for what consumers and professionals get out of a high-performance USB mic for $100,” says Skipper Wise, founder of Neat Microphones and now Vice President at Turtle Beach. “Bumblebee II is the next step in USB microphone design and is a perfect example of what you get from our team that has worked together designing microphones for decades."

The Bumblebee II is a versatile and easy-to-use USB condenser microphone that is an ideal solution for voice conferencing, content creators, streamers, podcasters, gamers, vocalists, musicians, and voiceover artists. With its single, internally shockmounted, medium-sized 25mm condenser capsule, the Bumblebee II is an excellent personal mic for laptops, desktops, tablets, and any other audio device with a USB port. Plus, the Bumblebee II features a zero-latency headphone monitor with volume control, mic gain control, and mix control for monitoring source and playback.

The sturdy yoke-mounted desk stand allows stability on any surface, and the Bumblebee II can be easily used with a traditional mic stand or boom mount. A USB Type C to USB Type A cable is included.

Worker Bee II and King Bee II XLR Microphones
Just days before the unveiling of the new Bumblebee II, Neat Microphones revealed the Worker Bee II, designed for content creation, and streaming applications. The Worker Bee II is heir to their original Worker Bee design, targeting instrument recording in home studios, with a tight pickup pattern and compact size that is perfect for positioning in small spaces and recording in treated and untreated rooms. The Worker Bee II is available now with a new improved capsule and circuits, at an exceptional price of $99.99 USD MSRP.

"We’re extremely proud that we can deliver such an accurate recording instrument at $99.99. What the Worker Bee II hears, it reproduces truthfully,” adds Skipper Wise. “We’re excited to offer such a faithful sound at a high value price.”

The Worker Bee II features solid-state cardioid condenser microphone technology with an internally shockmounted, medium-sized 25mm capsule and discrete Class A electronics that can handle high sound pressure levels with a wide frequency and dynamic range. It handles guitar amps, brass, live recordings, and drums, while retaining a level of detail that brings out the nuances in vocals and spoken voice.

Complementing the Worker Bee II, Neat is now shipping the previously announced King Bee II XLR microphone in the US. The King Bee II builds on the original’s heritage of delivering top recording quality at an unrivaled MSRP of $169.99. This microphone will excel in studio applications, particularly for spoken word applications, voiceovers and podcasting thanks to Class-A electronics and its large 34mm precision, gold-sputtered true condenser microphone capsule.
