What immediately attracts in the T18NC is the design, combining the familiar AirPods form factor with premium features and an extremely well designed charging case. The company implemented the ability to listen and talk through both earbuds, leveraging the dual-mic Active Noise Reduction technology and the sealed in-ear design to limit background noise and ensure flawless communication. Also excellent are the 7 hours of usage from a single charge (4-5 hours with ANC active), and the USB-C fast charging case, which provides a 24 hours capacity and also supports Qi wireless charging.
The ANC feature on the T18NC delivers noise reduction levels of -25db without compromising music playback. "These tiny earbuds fit snug into your ears and with the dual-mic noise reduction technology the in-ear design improves wind-noise reduction thus limits background noise to ensure a flawless communicative experience and exceptionally clear voice quality calls," the company says. "Part of delivering good sound quality is using class-leading audio processors so that no matter the environment you’re in, you will receive precise noise reduction that optimizes the sound in real-time to capture the distortion and cancel background noise no matter the situation," they add, without revealing which platform they are using.
Each earbud features a 13mm titanium dynamic driver and the shell surface offers integrated touch controls, which gives users the option to tap either earbud to play/pause music or answer/reject calls and going from track to track with a double tap, or tap and hold the panel on either earbud for 1 second to reach active noise cancelling. The T18NC’s are also IPX5 waterproof and dustproof rated.
