Flux sound and picture development was founded in the 1990’s during the early days of digital audio software workstations, collaborating with Merging Technologies in the creation of Merging’s now renowned products. In 2007 Flux started releasing their own exquisite audio software product line tailored for demanding sound engineers, and has since then been focused on creating intuitive and technically innovative audio software tools, used by sound engineers and producers in the professional audio, broadcast, post production and mastering industry all over the world.
One of the main features of BitterSweet Pro v3 is the “Frequency Dependent” Transient Processing, providing the ability to process only a certain part of the frequency spectrum making it act just like a dynamic equalizer driven by Transients and/or Sustain.
In addition, Transients and Sustain can be amplified or attenuated simultaneously or individually, and BitterSweet Pro v3 can process either all components (Main) in one, or process the Mid (Center) or the Side (Stereo) parts of the sound independently by encoding the material with its internal MS encoder, process it, and then decode it back to stereo again.
To retain control of the signal, even under extreme processing, a soft clipper is provided at the very last stage of the processing path carefully rounding the edges of the clipped peaks for a smoother clipping. This fundamental design makes it a genuinely easy task to perform powerful level-independent transparent shaping of the sound spectrum using BitterSweet Pro.
BitterSweet Pro supports all major plug-in platforms; AU, VST, AAX NATIVE, AAX DSP, AAX AudioSuite, Waves WPAPI and Merging VS3 (available through Merging Technologies only) in 32 & 64 bits under Windows and Mac OS X. BitterSweet Pro v3 is available for a promotional price of $99 through Wednesday 31st May, 2016 from the Flux:: webstore, or at dealers worldwide. BitterSweet Pro is also included in the newly updated Flux Full Pack (version 2.2). The bundle is currently on sale at $599 (MSRP $1290). Previous owners of the Flux:: Full Pack 2.1 will receive a free upgrade.
