Now available globally, Dynacord's new L Series and C Series power amplifiers feature four models per series in a new industrial design, including tour-grade features and protection circuitry usually found in more expensive amplifiers, as well as high-performance digital signal processing with easy-to-use remote control software.

Making real professional performance more accessible than ever, Dynacord launched its two new dual-channel power amplifier series at Infocomm 2017. Coinciding with Dynacord’s 70th anniversary, these new L Series and C Series amplifiers will be available globally.

Both amplifier series comprise a powerful linear amp design with a best-in-class feature set that brings real professional performance to a new, more accessible price point. A new, powerful and easy-to-use software tool allows full configuration, control, and supervision of sound systems with multiple amplifiers. The software will be available on Dynacord’s website.

Four different models per series are available, with total output power ranging from 1300 W to 3600 W, engineered for stability at 2 ohms. "Sophisticated circuitry and bulletproof, high-performance voltage handling give the user peace of mind. These amplifiers and connected loudspeakers are protected from damage and will perform flawlessly – even in the most demanding environments. They represent the cutting edge of amplifier performance and reliability in their market segment," the company states.

Dynacord L Series power amplifiers are engineered to provide sound reinforcement for demanding live music applications, targeting performing musicians and production companies providing sound reinforcement for live performances in venues like music clubs, community hall events, performance centers, and sports venues.

Dynacord C Series power amplifiers are designed for permanent installation applications, to provide background or live music in venue including bars, churches, restaurants, sports facilities, and performing arts centers. The C Series is also suitable for direct drive applications with 70V / 100V speaker lines, providing high flexibility for a variety of install scenarios. In addition, the amplifiers feature Euroblock connectors for convenient wiring, remote power-on delay, and GPIOs (General-purpose input/output) to interface with third-party controls. The efficient standby power mode reduces running costs and power consumption by up to 90 percent, leading to a very low total cost of ownership.

Dynacord’s L Series was designed with tour-grade features and protection circuitry usually found in more expensive amplifiers.

Both series offer high-quality components and truly professional processing power and performance characteristics. The onboard DSP (digital signal processing) includes multi-band PEQs (parametric equalizer), crossovers, limiters, and delay per channel. All models also feature true channel grouping control with extra DSP capabilities like PEQ, GEQ (graphic equalizer), and delay for each group.

“The advanced FIR-Drive, which utilizes finite impulse response filters, is a feature normally reserved for the highest quality tour-grade DSPs,” comments Jonathan Bailey, Global Product Manager Pro Sound Electronics and Software. “L Series and C Series amplifiers utilize this premium feature to optimize original factory loudspeaker settings, yielding a level of performance unheard of at this price point.”

Both series consist of four dual-channel models, each with different output power specifications (rated for maximum output power per channel):
