Dante Virtual Soundcard v4.2 is ready for the latest computers and operating systems, with native support for macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 family) and Windows 11 PCs. The software maintains the same features, seamlessly integrating any PC or Mac with Dante audio devices on an Ethernet-based network, to record, process and playout up to 64x64 channels using any audio applications and any combination of Dante-enabled devices.
Dante Virtual Soundcard is designed to work with popular Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Nuendo, Cubase, Reaper, and Logic, as well as consumer media player applications in macOS and Windows, including Skype. Dante Virtual Soundcard appears on computers as an ordinary Core Audio, ASIO or WDM device, no special settings are required. It supports 16, 24 and 32-bit audio, at 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, sample rates on Windows, and up to 176.4kHz, and 192kHz sample rates on macOS with Gigabit Ethernet. Latency can be set by the user to meet the needs of the individual computers and networks.
