Next Generation Universal-Fit Personal Monitors from Future Sonics

With more than 30 years as the original pioneers producing quality custom Ear Monitors brand for the world’s top musicians and audio engineers, Future Sonics introduced its new Spectrum Series model G10 universal-fit professional personal monitors, featuring the next generation of its award-winning audio signature. A remarkable design effort, considering the affordable MSRP/MAP price of $219.

According to Future Sonics, the Spectrum Series model G10 “offers the industry’s most natural listening experience for live, studio, broadcast, and worship applications. It creates an incredibly smooth ultra wide-spectrum sound in a new micro-sized, more efficient, and armature-free voice coil infrastructure.”

The new Future Sonics design combines a new energy efficient voice coil technology and dynamic miniature transducers in a proprietary 32 Ω, 10-mm system designed and manufactured by the company. The design is structurally moisture resistant, provides up to -29 dB Ambient Noise Reduction and is always in phase, allowing a full range sound (18 to 20,000 Hz) at even the lowest volumes.

This new micro-profile structure also features a durable applied metallic finish for extended wear and refined style with intuitive tactile thumb-placement guides on each earpiece, indicating left and right – even in the darkest conditions.

“We receive countless requests to return to the universal-fit platform after the success of our earlier models, but we had to go beyond anything that we – or anyone else – has done before. Since we design and manufacture our own proprietary miniature speaker technologies, we were successfully able to take our signature sound a step further. We created something special that’s the absolute best in its class,” says Future Sonics Founder and CEO, Marty Garcia.

The famous monitor engineer and in-ear monitoring pioneer also says the new Spectrum Series model G10 represents a “classic example of intelligent and thoughtful design”, providing “superior performance not found in any other product, or at any price.” The company says that, unlike multi-driver armature (hearing aid-type) configurations or so-called “hybrid” earphones, the new design does not “generate electronic or comb filtering artifacts, no phase issues, and no crossover dropouts to provide a perfectly balanced, natural and more realistic sound.”

The new G10’s are complemented with a braided cable system to guarantee better sound quality, strength, and durability with minimal microphonics. The universal earpieces also are complemented with multiple fit options include ComfortFit foam and EarFills silicone sleeves – including sizes for children. An optional upgrade features custom-fit SofterWear sleeves (at an additional cost plus ear impressions by an authorized audiologist or hearing professional).
