Gibson Brands continues to honor the roots of Les Paul, who first pioneered the solid body electric guitar and later introduced multi-track recording, by debuting the Gibson Les Paul Reference Monitors. These monitors satisfy the needs of true audio professionals and music enthusiasts, alike.

Combining 200 years of expertise in guitar, studio monitor and home speaker manufacturing, Gibson Brands created this new line of monitors to satisfy the needs of audio professionals and music enthusiasts alike. According to Giboson, “these monitors represent a new level of performance and were made to become the personal reference, whether you are mixing or recording, producing, being an artist, or simply listen to your music at home.”

The new Gibson Les Paul Reference Monitors will be officially launched at the 2015 NAMM Show in Anaheim. During the 137th Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention ins Los Angeles, the Gibson booth was already offering a first glimpse of this surprising new range of monitors and the Les Paul Reference Monitors were again displayed at the CES 2015.

The monitors represent superior definition combined with iconic Les Paul styling, diamond-like carbon coated titanium tweeters, non-woven carbon woofers and custom-made amplification. The new bi-amped powered designs will be available in three different sizes and multiple color variations with Cherry, Tobacco Sunburst and Cherry Sunburst finishes.

The three new Gibson LP4, LP6, and LP8 are widely inspired by the brand’s Les Paul guitars, with their flamed front-panel, Sunburst finish, front ports, cream “bindings” and Gibson backlit logo reminiscent of some tailpieces on a few guitar models. The 4”, 6”, and 8” grille-protected woofers feature the Les Paul signature and employ carbon, just like the tweeters.

The monitors will be available by February 2015 at a U.S. MAP of $599 (LP4), $799 (LP6) and $999 (LP8).
