
PMC Launches QB1 Active Ultra-High-Resolution Main Studio Monitors
British loudspeaker manufacturer PMC is showcasing 9.1 audio Demonstrations at the PMC Masters of Audio demo suite, during the 137th AES Convention, being held in the Los Angeles Convention Center from October 9-12, 2014. The show will be also an important one for the company, since PMC will be publicly exhibiting its new QB1 Active, a large-scale, ultra-high-resolution main studio monitor with analogue and digital (up to 192kHz) inputs.

Apogee New Ensemble: A Powerful 30x34 Thunderbolt 2 Audio Interface
Apogee Electronics is using the 137th AES Convention in Los Angeles - close to its headquarters in Santa Monica, California - to introduce the new Ensemble recording interface. The sucessor of the original Apogee Ensemble, released in 2007, is now a powerful 30x34 Thunderbolt 2 audio interface which Apogee says, at only 1.1ms, is the lowest round-trip latency performance available in any all-in-one audio interface.

Antelope Audio Presents Pure2, Two-Channel Mastering Converter
Another major product launch from Antelope Audio, at the 137th AES Convention in Los Angeles, is the new Pure2, a two-channel mastering converter from the renown manufacturer of master clocks and synchronization products. AES and OCA Alliance Join Forces on Open Standard Media Control Protocol
The AES and OCA Alliance will be working together at the forthcoming 137th AES Convention in Los Angeles towards the ratification of the alliance’s proposed Open Control Architecture as an AES public standard. The alliance will also be exhibiting, demonstrating the benefits of the OCA standards-based control and monitoring architecture across networked audio devices from different manufacturers.
