At the Prolight+Sound 2015 show, Solid State Logic attracted considerable attention to its large display of both studio recording and live mixing solutions. SSL released V3 Software for its Live Consoles many new important features and enhancements, introduced an optional Dante interface card, and the new L500 Plus model.
PreSonus Studio 192 Audio Interface Doubles as Studio Command Center
PreSonus launched its new Studio 192 USB 3.0 Audio Interface and Studio Command Center. This new 26 x 32 interface records at up to 192 kHz and combines eight digitally controlled XMAX Class A solid-state mic preamps and premium Burr-Brown converters with the company’s StudioLive Fat Channel signal processing.
X Series Heralds a New Era for L-Acoustics

RME Announces Babyface Pro Portable Interface
During the 2015 Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound shows in Frankfurt, RME introduced a new version of its Babyface portable audio interface, now called Babyface Pro. Using the slogan “reengineered | not remastered”, RME perfected the mechanics and added newly designed analog and digital circuits.

New Beyma Products Introduced at Prolight+Sound 2015
As promised, at the 2015 Prolight+Sound show, in Frankfurt, Beyma introduced its new WR low frequency 10WR300, 12WR400 and 15WR400 drivers for small and medium sized vented cabinets. Beyma also introduced the new 8CX300Fe 8” coaxial driver designed for full range applications and previewed upgraded versions of the 15P1000FeV2, 12P80NdV2 and 8P300Fe/N low frequency transducers.

Blue Microphone announced the availability of Hummingbird, the small-diaphragm condenser microphone with an adjustable pivoting head, which the company introduced at the 2015 NAMM Show. A versatile recording tool, Hummingbird uses a precisely tuned diaphragm, based on Blue’s B1 capsule, allowing ultra-fast transient response and high-SPL handling.
