FaitalPRO Expands Range of Pro Audio Coaxial Loudspeakers

Apart from several new woofers and compression drivers, Italian pro audio manufacturer FaitalPRO, introduced two new full range coaxial speakers at ProLight+Sound 2017. The new 10HX230 and 12HX230 coaxial drivers stand next to the also recently added 8XH230 8" coaxial model, which expanded the brand's catalogue. FaitalPRO expects these new coaxial configurations to inspire designers to build smaller, lighter, high-quality speakers for stage and touring applications.

Fohhn Audio AG announced the release of its new PT-70 loudspeaker system. What makes the PT-70 design unique is its so-called Convertible Dispersion Technology (CDT), registered as a utility model, enabling it to be manually switched between cardioid and vented operation modes. When the PT-70 is used as a cardioid system, significantly less sound is emitted from the back of the speaker. This results in both a quieter working environment for the band and a richer, deeper sound for the audience.

Sennheiser announced the new Digital 6000 wireless Series, designed for demanding live productions, using the same long-range mode and proprietary Sennheiser Digital Audio Codec as the Digital 9000, Sennheiser’s top-of-the-range wireless series. Comprising a two-channel receiver in two different versions, a bodypack and a handheld transmitter as well as a rack-mount 19” charging unit, the Digital 6000 Series will be available from March 2017.
